About Indian Trails
The Indian Trails subdivision in Grove City, Ohio was founded in the late 1970’s . It was created to be just a little area in the country, but with city conveniences. Over thirty years later, there have been hundreds of families who have agreed with the theory “country life with city convenience” (although it’s not nearly as ‘country’ as it used to be). The original section of Indian Trails has a private, stocked 5 ½ acre pond as well as tennis courts and green areas bordering the 97 houses belonging to this association. The other private lake in the area belongs to the Hawthorne Woods association. It is also stocked with less than 90 homes belonging to that association.
The area has several sections; Indian Trails, Hawthorne Woods, Hawthorne Woods North, Crossing at Grant Run, Grant Run Estates, and Ledgestone at Indian Trails. Prices typically range from $150,000 up to $500,000. Indian Trails homes for sale can be situated on large wooded lots, lots with running streams, lots backing up to lakes, lots backing up to tennis courts, or lots backing up to large parks. Grove City has constructed a bike path that runs throughout the area, into the Grant Run Estates Subdivision, and connects to the Buckeye Parkway corridor; providing access to the newer Grove City area (east side of I-71). A short car trip, walk, or bike ride is possible to all kinds of shopping; Kroger, Walmart, Target, Kohls, Pier 1 just to name a few of the popular ones. Nearby restaurants include; O’Charley’s, Panera Bread, Red Robin, Tammy’s Pizza plus so many more.
Many transferring families have enjoyed locating in this area because one partner can work in Columbus while the other can work in Chillocothe or Circleville with minimal traveling time for either one. Commuting to work can be easy; less than 2 miles to I-71, 10 minutes to downtown Columbus, 2 miles to SR-23, 30-45 minutes to Circleville, 20 minutes to Dublin, 25 minutes to Westerville, 20 minutes to The Ohio State University. It’s not hard to see why Indian Trails homes for sale meet the needs of so many Buyers in today’s market.
