Small Town. Big City.
I’ve lived all over the place – from Bellefontaine, OH to Fullerton, CA to Hilliard, OH – and now I choose to live right here in Grove City. It’s a place that grow on anyone lucky enough reside in it. Here are a few reasons why…
1. The first thing you will recognize and like is the “small town” atmosphere. Grove City is a place where you will know a lot of people by their first name and have ample opportunity to interact with them at various community events during the year (Wine Tasting Festival, Balloons and Tunes, Boo on Broadway). It creates a warm, inviting feel knowing you’re part of a town with community pride.

2. The second thing I like about Grove City is the upward, mobile growth that we have experienced over the last decade. Grove City has grown by leaps and bounds and the community continues to look for areas that we can improve upon. You can see the growth in the diverse shopping experiences, the choices for dining, and your variety of entertainment options. Whether you’re watching an outdoor movie at Fryer Park, fishing in Rotary Pond, taking in some free music at a Summer Sizzle Concert Series, or golfing at a premier golf course like Pinnacle Golf Club… it’s not hard to see how far our town has come in a short amount of time.
3. The third thing that I like about Grove City is the rich tradition that the Alumni have towards their beloved Greyhounds, Comets, and Eagles! Being a Dawgs fan is tradition that has been passed down as a family tradition for some here. Many of the former athletes, band members, and accomplished students have a deep soft spot for their Grove City Greyhounds. Recently, Grove City added a second high school, Central Crossing and also has an excellent private high school in Grove City Christian. All of these schools, along with their middle schools and elementary schools, are highly rated and are among the best in central Ohio. No matter where you gain your education, you cannot miss with Grove City schools. The pride gained from these institutions is long-lasting and embedded in this town that is recognized at the “Southern Gateway to Ohio’s Capital City”.
